Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Flexispace at Morayfield SHS, located at 70 Visentin Rd, Morayfield, QLD, AU, 4506, as part of the Direct (DIRECT) program.
The works consist of demolition to an existing internal dividing wall to create one open flexi space room. Refurbishment to include new floor coverings, electrical, paint, wall coverings, ceiling tiles and new kitchen joinery and plumbing fittings. The position of the building is at the centre of the school campus with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by April 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
